Wandering the Threshold of Delirium I & II

With composer Christien Ledroit (http://members.shaw.ca/cledroit/), we have started exploring the making of a very ambitious project (more about that at a later date).
"Wandering the Threshold of Delirium" is one of the first tests we made, based on music already composed by Christien, yet with a concert of live music and fixed-media images in mind.
The "Contact Contemporary Music" ensemble (http://www.contactcontemporarymusic.ca/upcomingevents/) presented this piece at the Music Gallery (along with another film done in collaboration with Christien, soon to be posted on Vimeo), in Toronto, on May 12, 2012.
The concert was recorded, and its audio was then added to the original images, to be presented here in several instalments (this being the first one).
With the Contact Contemporary Music ensemble and the support of its artistic director, Jerry Pergolesi, we plan on exploring the mysterious world of "Visual Music," probing its uncharted territory, hoping to better understand -and make manifest- the infinite ways by which, in which, music and images inform each other.
