The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

With composer Christien Ledroit (http://members.shaw.ca/cledroit/), we have started exploring the making of a very ambitious project (more about that at a later date).
"Twice Removed" is the first test we made, based on a sketch I creayed with/for music by Gluck (http://vimeo.com/29643189).
One thing leading to another, Christien asked for some modification of the original (made silent) movie, and he showed the work-in-progress to Jerry Pergolesi, artistic director of the Contact Contemporary Music ensemble (http://www.contactcontemporarymusic.ca/upcomingevents/).
Jerry was kind enough to add the piece to a concert to be presented at the Music Gallery (along with another film done in collaboration with Christien http://vimeo.com/44191984) in Toronto, on May 12, 2012.
The concert was recorded, and its audio was then added to the original images, to be presented here in several instalments (this being the second one, one more to come).
We plan on continuing to explore the mysterious world of "Visual Music," probing its uncharted territory, hoping to better understand -and make manifest- the infinite ways by which, in which, music and images inform each other.
