The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

This is Jean-Philippe Rameau’s “Gavotte et 6 doubles”, music which has been with me for a very long time.
As I am not getting any younger (71 at the time of writing), I finally decided to listen to it with my eyes, and as I have several favourite recordings of it, I embarked on making three versions, each one with a different musician: 2 harpsichordists (William Christie https://vimeo.com/231092177 and Trevor Pinnock https://vimeo.com/232873880), this is the third and final one, on the piano, by Natacha Kudritskaya (here's her original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuJ-LKEH6W0).

I find her playing beautifully tender, immensely sensitive, it was a joy to listen to it with my eyes (as the saying goes: "She's got a fan in me").
