The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

My latest movies have been done mostly while practising real-time images generation and mixing in preparation for forthcoming live images - music concerts.
But for the most part, there was some editing involved, sometimes fairly complex.
This sketch is of a very different order: I was listening to Alice Sara Ott & Ólafur Arnalds’ “The Chopin Project” while working, and was struck by how compatible my images improvised in real-time seemed to be with the music I was listening to.
I always do my best to surrender to gifts like that, so I imported an excerpt from “The Chopin Project" and the very video I was playing with into my editing application (Final Cut Pro X), and lo and behold, I had the piece you can see here, done, absolutely no editing, except for a fade-in at the beginning and a fade-out at the end.
The breathing of both the music and the images seemed to me identical, at least very related.

Thank you
