Impromptu

Marco Ambrosini, master of the nyckelharpa, and Younes Paknezhad, master of the kemanche, met in the ORF studio in Linz (May 5th 2017).
They had never played together, and without any preparation (no rehearsing), they started improvising.
When I heard this music, I immediately knew I had to listen to it with my eyes, and as Marco and I had already done some work together (collection of our work here: https://vimeo.com/album/4483478), I asked him if I could work with/from/for this remarkable recording.
He agreed, and this is the result.
