The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

I started working with this music as a form or exercise, one of the many sketches I do on a daily basis, a discipline I carried over the digital workflow from my decades of dedicated natural media work/life.
But this music is way too deep to be left at that, the theme and variations form speaks volumes to me as it is so very similar to the way I approach the making of my images, be they still or “animated”, and this is an exhilarating piece to explore that form with.
So much so I may do it again with the interpretation of other musicians.
To be followed…
Music is Jean-Philippe Rameau’s “Gavotte avec 6 Doubles”, masterfully interpreted by William Christie on a beautiful harpsichord (Ruckers - Taskin).

Please consider supporting my work (VERY MUCH in need of support these days). You can make donations via PayPal, starting from here : http://www.vudici.net/movies/morphing.html#new123108 (this type of work receives very little help, if any, from the usual channels).
Thank you
