The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

Georges, my son, offered me a beautiful gift for this Christmas (2020), a 27” iMac i9 with a great graphics card.
This thing flies, it reduces rendering time to the point editing feels like I am painting on canvas (minus the fumes, can’t touch natural media now because of deadly allergies), painting on a live canvas with images unfolding in time!
For my first project on the new machine, I decided to make a sketch with/for a music I had already visited many years ago, but then it was with the original organ version: https://vimeo.com/77399471
This time it is with a transcription for piano.
The music is J. S. Bach’s Organ Sonata No. 4, BWV 528 - II. Andante [Adagio] (Transcr. Stradal) performed on the piano by Víkingur Ólafsson.
This video is only a sketch, I do not own the rights to the music, but I sure enjoyed listening to it with my eyes!
