for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

This is another one of those many (hundreds) sketches ("études" ou "croquis") I do constantly. Some lead to "projects" (eventually showing in festivals and such), many never go beyond this "sketch" status.
However, they all start basically the same way: I hear something that really grabs my attention, and I need to do something "with/for/to" that which talked to me so intensely.
In French, I would say that I function by way of "coups de coeur."
This interpretation of one of Tosca's most famous arias hit me between the eyes, prompting the making of this sketch (early 2011).
I did try to contact the musicians (Beau Bledsoe http://www.beaubledsoe.com/ and Nathan Granner http://nathangranner.com/) but was not successful, so this is yet another "message in a bottle" that sunk at sea (many of those).
However, whether the message was read or not, it was written, and that is what matters most, "the rest is not our business..."
