Hi Jim, thank you. It is good to meet you here. I love your films. I will come to Los Angeles in late Nov./early Dec. and it would be wonderful to see you. Best, Baerbel
Great to hear from you. - I was also quite busy in the fall 05, and imagined it to be like that for you. I will write you my exact schedule for this Nov.Dec. very soon. - Thanks for writing the links! - I viewed only the movies on the web, for the wmv file I will need to look for a playback possibility on my other computers/macs, my Mac Book - with wich I am connected with the internet - does not playback it. I will try with Final Cut. However, even with the compression, eternity is fabulous! I did not know the Pulfrich effect. All of your animations are exciting, I can imagine, that you like water, the transitions and compositions of various materials you are using - exciting to see the variety-, are very beautiful. I had a look into the other movies on Youtube, too, and it will be great to see your films uncompressed. Yes, lets at any rate exchange DVDs.
I like water too. Its my favorite element. Thank you for your kind words about my work.
- Re your comment on your animation film making...I completely understand. I have been close to the stop/rest several times...But good that you “ can't you can't help yourself now and then...
I like the overtones around the melodies, and also the melodies in your music and the oriental aspects are very nice in the whole. What are you working on with writing? Looking forward to speaking in person!
