Event Description
"Shade Recovered" will have its world premiere -as a film- during that event.
The first of the two "Shades" pieces was "Shade Lost." It was created by compositing many video tracks in Final Cut Pro and disabling their color information, dealing strictly with black and white images as a result.
"Shade recovered" was done later by re-enabling the color information in the clips used for "Shade Lost," and editing the piece without any color manipulation/correction ("fortuitous accidents").
It was first shown as a concert piece here.
