Event Description

"NY Counterpoint," the original Steve Reich composition was for 11 clarinets (one live playing "against" 10 pre-recorded), and Jean-Philippe Collard-Neven later made a transcription for piano and tape.

This film was made with/from/for Jean-Philippe's transcription, trying to follow, in the genesis of images, "patterns" somewhat similar to those used in the original composition (am particularly interested in subtle changes in repetitive elements: are they changes "in" the elements, and/or changes in the perception of those elements?).
