Of Vertigo and Ruins

Turbidus Film har bjudit in Pierre-Luc Vaillancourt från Institute for Exploratory Cinemas (ICPCE, www.icpce.org) Montreal, Canada, för att kurera kvällens program av kanadensiska kortfilmer på video och 16mm. Pierre-Luc kommer själv att närvara och presentera programmet.

Här beskriver han kort vad vi kommer att få ta del av:
"The architecture of bodies and matter explode into pieces and parts. Under the grace of vertigo and euphoria without possible return the anchor point is in the skies and cinema is dismantled and devastated in ashes.
The selection includes visual experiments on the celluloid film tape next to multilayered collages of images, meanings and temporal spans, avantgarde interventions into the narrative structure of the cinematic medium as well as found footage materials and subversive recordings of a cinema of resistance and transcendence." Curse of the Voodoo Child" will screen in this program
