moving collages

On their own, experimental cinema and video art are not usually thought of in terms of the artistic practice collage. At the same time, if we acknowledge that collage is a combination of diverse forms, by putting into dialogue the narrative explorations and most fragmented spatial relations found in experimental cinema, video art and animated film, a kind of collage is created. For three days, from May 15 to 17, these means of expression will be discussed and presented. Daïmôn’s symposium is made up of opening talks each day by art historians, curators and artists, along with panel discussions with similar participants. Each evening, exceptional public events will be held, joining contemporary productions and performances with older and little-known works. I will be presenting a presentation called "you're tearing me apart."
