Event Description
“12 x 30, Blind" has been selected by the “Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois,” a festival that has been very supportive of my work for a number of years (one, often two of my films selected each year since 2006 or 2007).
“12 x 30, Blind” was made by my creating a 6-minute silent movie, and giving it to composer Donald Meyer, but doing so “only” in 30-second segments, in chronological order. Thus Don could not see the full piece until receiving the final segment, he had to work “blind,” one 30-second section at a time, 12 times in a row (hence the title).

“12 x 30, Blind” will be part of the “Art et expérimentation” programme, presented on February 22, from 2:35 p.m. to 3:51 p.m., at the Cinémathèque québécoise (Salle Claude-Jutra).
