Event Description
For its 41st edition, the Festival du nouveau cinéma is proud to announce the screening of four films from the Jafar Panahi Project. Produced by Marcel Jean and Galilé Marion-Gauvin, this initiative is directed by ten animation and experimental filmmakers. They agreed to work for free to claim the release of Iranian director Jafar Panahi, sentenced to six years in prison and banned from making films, travelling and doing any interviews. My film, "Free Speech" will be one of the 4 short films that will screen during the festival.
