The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

An animated short film created with students at The New School in my Experimental Animation Workshop. We shot with a 16mm Bolex camera in Washington Square Park, single frame pixilation on B&W film and added colors and effects by contact printing the Bolex footage through an Oxberry onto color stock.
Music: "Goin' down Louisiana" by The Mothers of Invention
"Lawnmower Boogie" by Hank Bones and Bill Plympton.
