for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues
Created as part of an Experimental Animation Workshop that I taught at The New School in NYC. The group was mostly foreign exchange students from Korea. We shot single frame pixilation with a 16mm Bolex camera on B&W film stock in Washington Square Park. I took the B&W film shot with the Bolex and contact printed it as A & B rolls, bi-packed in my Oxberry Animation Stand Camera. This process was how the students added all the color and other animation effects to the original B&W pixilation. I then processed the color film three different ways to varying effects.
