Chronic Condo Conformity Syndrome

A semi-abstract, fugal video. Chronic Condo Conformity Syndrome infects in-it-for-the-buck architects and builders on an epidemic scale, resulting in a nationwide plague of ultra-planned communities of cookie-cutter townhouses jam-packed onto too-small tracts of land. The architecture—if you can call it that—is characterized by an intense feeling of suffocation and monotonous visual repetition. This “style” may, at first glance, be mistaken for satire. However, it is serious. Very serious.
