for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues
Interactivity, which is now available to all of us, has brought a more humane - copernian chapter in existing and future music. The sense of hearing is deprived of its traditional "privilege" and sight - which until now has not had a distinct role in listening to and evaluating music, is being given the opportunity for integral/interactive cooperation. This is an opportunity to equally enjoy both sound and visual contents without "slippind" into the trap of the visual environment or the visual story of natural contents and diminishing the fundamental qualities of MUSIC - that abstract, eternal and ever-welcome companion of mankind. |
