Call for submissions: iotaSalon
The iotaSalon is a forum for screening and discussion of historical and contemporary experimental works. The Salon is presented every other month at UCLA in conjunction with the Design | Media Art Department. We are always seeking submissions, especially from members of the Visual Music Village.
Our next Salon is on November 19th at the Broad Art Center at UCLA.
The theme for this salon is Rhythm.
How is rhythm dictated in abstract work? Is it musical? Poetic? Biological? Mechanical? How do visual and aural rhythms intertwine or reject each other?
