Punto y Raya Junior 2012 | Abstract short·film Call for entries

This entry call is addressed to CHILDREN aged between 6 and 12 years. Submissions are made through a RESPONSIBLE ADULT or SCHOOLS and other INSTITUTIONS acting in their behalf.

It's open to abstract short films exploring dots and lines in various contexts. No representation, only dots and lines as ends in themselves!

There is no entry fee and the submissions can be made online.

DEADLINE: Sunday, September 30th 2012

GENEAL RULES
: There are three different categories according to the applicant's age:

· MINI: 6 & 7 year-olds.
· MEDIUM: 8, 9 & 10 year-olds.
· MAXI: 11 & 12 year-olds.

: The short·films must be made entirely with dots and lines avoiding representation.

: You can use any kind of live action and animation techniques.

: The soundtrack cannot feature any words. If you're using a song, this must be completely instrumental or feature non·narrative voices [that is, no lyrics!].

: Running time shall not exceed 6 minutes.

: We strongly advise you to enter your film/s in HD (1080 x 720px or higher), because we'll screen all the selected pieces in high-def.

ELIGIBILITY AND SUBMISSIONS

All Institutions and children from around the globe are welcome to participate in our call. Institutions participate through one or various GROUPS OF CHILDREN (ideally, between 3 and 10 members each). Group members must belong to a SINGLE CATEGORY.
