Event Description

Dr Hyde has a background in the European electroacoustic/acousmatic school of electronic music, having worked for much of the 90s with BEAST (Birmingham Electroacoustic Sound Theatre) in the UK. However, for the past ten years he has worked almost exclusively in the multimedia domain, with video and live performance (contemporary dance in particular). He will talk about how his musical/sonic background has given him a particular perspective working in these fields, and his striving towards a particular kind of 'visual music'
