The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

This was one of many episodes of "Life in the Fridge" created for the first season of CBS Inc.'s "Pee Wee's Playhouse" produced by Broadcast Arts in NYC. I worked as the DP (director of photography) with director: Rob Niosi, animator: Spencer Cook & producer Eric Herman. This is what occupied most of my summer in 1986. In addition to doing the lighting and camera work I also did motion control and occasionally animated a shot or two. The pixilated hand picking the grape is not actually Pee Wee Herman, but a woman from the stop motion fabrication dept.
