Floating Point

i call what i do "Visual Poetry" I enjoy putting abstract animation and poetry together. Each comments on the other and together something I didn't plan on always emerges and says more than either alone would. Perhaps because my original background was as a painter I like process, I like a work of art to develop as it is being made. I like the mix of control and then letting go of control to see what happens. I start with a concept and create elements , music, poetry visuals that I think go with it. In this case all of the visual elements were 3d and created in Maya. I composited everything together in after Effects. Tom Mueller was the voice talent.
