The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

A fast moving time-lapse montage that I created with my partner Peter Wallach. Color and B&W, 35mm and 16mm, city and country are all combined and contrasted in "Big Sky", a showcase of our "designs in time" cinematography at Accelerated Images, NYC. This whirlwind tour of international locations and artistic activities is driven by the relentless rhythms of Texas rockabilly guitar wrangler Reverend Horton Heat. Editor: Jim Romaine. The film received the Gold Award (First Prize) for best experimental animation at Worldfest Houston in 2003.
