A Day of Remembrance: September 6, 2013
It has now been ten years since the passing of Jules Engel, a beloved mentor, educator, and seminal animation artist for the art history of experimental animation. Through his teachings and his films, Engel changed the face of art history and the animation industry, one student at a time. Engel was an unforgettable "presence" for over three generations of students at CalArts, yours truly included.
