The Visual Music Village

for Visual Music Artists, Writers, and Venues

This is Khatia Buniatishvili’s beautiful rendition of Handel’s Minuet from Suite in G Minor, HWV 439 (arr. W. Kempff), an encore to one of her many concerts.
So very sensitive, tendre, the kind of supreme piano playing that makes one suspend one’s breath for fear of breaking the spell.

And yet, Khatia has another side, fierce, daring, see for yourself: https://vimeo.com/59657826

It’s an immense joy to listen to Khatia’s music with my eyes, she makes so many facets of the music she is interpreting crystal-clear, visible, there’s nothing to add or subtract.
