Sigca software allows sound to correspond to geometrical shapes that can modify shape, color, background, add blending and glow effects in still images.
In this work I used new random shapes to the music; each shape matched a note or tone and a piece of the music in real time. There was an emphasis on blending colours in accordance to the music and exploring the relationship between shape color and sound.
Although the shapes were randomly created at first, in the follow up sequence images, some of the shapes were modified either reduced in size or enlarged and other new shapes emerged to add to continue with the melodic composition of the sound. For every still image at least one or two of the shapes remained in the composition.
The video stills were finally grouped together in accordance to the sequence they were formed, whereby the composition corresponds to the melodic song.
