Event Description
Jean Detheux will present an evening of Visual Music consisting of six films, 5 of which are recent pieces which have never been seen in public before.
First film is "...lilac shrieks and scarlet bellowings..." done in collaboration with composer Mikel Kuehn
Second film is "Cantus novus," with the collaboration of composer Wilfried Jentzsch
Third film is "Visual Abstract" with the music of composer Pierre Jalbert
The fourth film is "Chaconne," Johann Sebastian Bach's music interpreted by violinist Anyango Yarbo-Davenport
The fifth film is "NY Counterpoint," a transciption for piano of Steve Reich's music, written and performed by pianist Jean-Philippe Collard-Neven.
And the sixth film is "Inemuri 2," with the music of Hubl Greiner and Luigi Archetti
